A diverse group of full-of-attitude New Yorkers reveals how a hidden world of beautiful wild birds in the middle of Manhattan had upended and magically transformed their lives.

This film is from 2012 and happens to have Christian Cooper, the author of the Long Island Reads 2024 book selection, years before he became famous for an incident in Central Park in which he was wrongly accused of criminal activity.
