Join us for a screening of My Italian Secret: Heroes of the Holocaust.  Narrated by Isabella Rossellini, the film tells the story of brave Italians who defied the Nazis and Fascists to hide, rescue and protect thousands of Jewish people and others in Italy during the Holocaust.  It was written, produced and directed by Oren Jacoby.

The film will be introduced by the key movie researcher, Vincent Marmorale.  He was responsible for establishing and implementing the Holocaust Studies Program and created workshops on Prejudice Reduction and the Holocaust on the local, state and national level.  He is the Chair of the Order of Sons ad Daughters of Italy of NYS Commission for Social Justice Holocaust Memorial Committee.  Mr. Marmorale will be available for Q & A following the film.

This program is presented as part of the Celebration of Italian-American Heritage Month by The John Michael Marino Lodge #1389 and the John Michael Marino Lodge Foundation, Inc. Order Sons and Daughters of Italy in America
