Duo Karolina Mikołajczyk (violin) & Iwo Jedynecki (button accordion) is one of the most interesting and innovative chamber ensembles of the young generation, breaking all stereotypes regarding instruments and escaping established repertoire patterns.

The program will be introduced and led by Manhasset resident, Dr. Edward Smaldone, Professor of Music at the Aaron Copland School of Music. Prof. Smaldone has composed a new piece, Song and Dances, for this ensemble which will receive its New York premiere at this concert.
