Opera Night, Long Island Sunday Afternoon at the Opera

Opera Night, Long Island’s mission is to foster the production and appreciation of opera. We provide affordable opera of the highest caliber to Long Island audiences. The Opera Night, Long Island singers and collaborative pianists are accomplished, professional musicians. One of our primary goals is to offer emerging young talent a platform to perform in different venues. This year marks the 21st anniversary of Opera Night, Long Island!

The “Sunday Afternoon at the Opera” program includes excerpts from operas by composers Georges Bizet (Carmen), Giacomo Puccini (La Boheme), Johann Strauss (Die Fledermaus), Carlisle Floyd (Susannah) and musical theater selections: Rodgers and Hammerstein (Carousel and South Pacific) to name only a few.
